Notice is hereby given that the AGM of the Thistle Association Football Club shall be held as follows:

  5. Election of positions for ensuing year:

    1. Adoption of updated club rules
    2. Change of club name
  7. General business

Nominations
These must be received by the Club Secretary in writing on the attached form, together with confirmation from the nominee that they are willing to stand for election, not less than 7days prior to the AGM (i.e. by 14 February).

Motions
The committee has put forward a motion to update the rules of the club.  The current rules have not been updated since 1982.  A copy of the proposed and existing rules are attached.
The main changes to the rules are:

  • Giving female members same rights as male members
  • Changing the name to Thistle Football Club (Currently Thistle Association Football Club)

Members wishing to have any business considered at the AGM as General Business shall give written notice containing details of such business to the Secretary not less than 14 days prior to the date of the AGM (i.e. by 7 February 2018).
